Dr. Bella Makagon grew up in the Seattle area and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington. She left the Pacific Northwest to attend the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Makagon was accepted into Boston University's highly competitive postgraduate program (Advanced Education in General Dentistry), where she gained a large amount of experience in all disciplines of dentistry and dental practice.

Dr. Makagon lived and worked in Boston for several years and relocated to the Seattle area with her husband and two children in 2009.  Her expertise spans numerous areas of dentistry, such as cosmetic dentistry, prosthetic dentistry, general dentistry, and implant dentistry.  Dr. Makagon splits her time between work and teaching at the Seattle Assisting Dental School where she shares her knowledge and provides students with a great foundation for a new career as a dental assistant.  Dr. Makagon is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the King County Dental Society. 

Dr. Makagon and her family live in Redmond, WA. During her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her children.
