Meet Dr. Martini

Dr. Martini is a graduate of the prestigious U. of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. This is her second dental  degree after initially receiving her DDS education at Kaunas Medical Academy School of Dentistry in her country of origin, Lithuania, in 1993. Dr. Martini holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from City University in Seattle.  

Prevention and early intervention are the central focus in her clinic. She advocates regular dental care and is well established and constantly updated on state-of-the-art General, Sedation and Cosmetic Dentistry, attending over 150 hours of Continuing Dental Education Seminars yearly, far beyond the required 21 hours yearly in Washington State. She is capable of attending to the needs of delicate cases such as patients with HIV. This is due to her extensive training at the U. of Penn Medically Complex Patients’ Clinic. Her comprehensive initial evaluation, and easy-to-understand treatment planning, puts the patient in charge of making informed decisions on available treatment options and necessary procedures.  

 Dr. Martini is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and an active member of the following organizations:

Dr. Martini likes to say that dentistry is her hobby among other hobbies including art, music, hiking, skiing and interior design, which people can sense once they walk in her contemporary clinic in downtown Seattle. Dr. Martini has volunteered in Guatemala helping poor children and adults with their dental needs. She resides in North Bend with her husband Shahm Martini, M.D., M.P.H., a psychiatrist, and her son Dominic who is a college student.

Meet Dr. Makagon

Dr. Bella Makagon is a new addition to our team. Dr. Makagon grew up in the Seattle area and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington. She left the Pacific Northwest to attend the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.  Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Makagon was accepted into Boston University’s highly competitive postgraduate program (Advanced Education in General Dentistry), where she gained a great amount of experience in all disciplines of dentistry and dental practice.

Dr. Makagon lived and worked in Boston for several years and recently relocated to the Seattle area with her husband and two children.  Her expertise span numerous areas of dentistry, such as cosmetic dentistry, prosthetic dentistry, general dentistry, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Makagon and her family settled in Kirkland, WA. During her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling and spending time with her children.
